Our bedrooms inspired by iconic artists from all over the world are tastefully decorated, stylish and filled with art. Each room has its own theme, unique colour palette and quirky details, making it as true as possible to the artists it’s been influenced by.
Vincent Van Gogh’s unforgettable masterpieces adorn the walls of this room. The ‘Sunflowers’ painting hangs at the head of the bed, creating the perfect centrepiece for the deep blue and yellow theme that carries on across the rest of the room. The ‘Irises’ painting hangs next to the original church pew, the perfect setting to relax with a book and a glass of wine. This breath-taking room with its gorgeous bedding, is always a favourite. Boasting a super-king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with free-standing bath, shower cubicle and WC.
A striking colour palette and bright furnishings create the perfect room inspired by the art and style icon, Frida Kahlo. With her notable self-portrait ‘The Frame’, at the heart of it, this room stretches the boundaries of the painting to well beyond the canvas, splashing it across the entire room. This colourful twin bedroom with quirky paddle-stairs up to a snug area with very low ceilings, is adored by children and grown-ups alike.
Regal and atmospheric, much like Gustav Klimt’s paintings, this room oozes intimacy and depth. Escape to this enigmatic cocoon and envelop yourself inside the king sized bed, as you gaze at Klimt’s masterpieces that embellish the walls of this room.
With an artist inspired by the Yorkshire countryside and a colour palette that celebrates nature, this light-filled room brings the outdoors in. Decorated with David Hockney’s impressive landscapes and views of the Leeming reservoir, this zip-and-link king-size bedroom (which can be made up as a twin bedroom on request) is a favourite for nature lovers.
Perhaps the most colourful of all our bedrooms, this vibrant room is quite literally an extension of Henri Matisse’s ‘The Snail’ collage. Taking colours from the collage and splashing them across the walls and ceiling of this room, Matisse Made is as close as you can come to stepping into the painting yourself. With characterful wooden beams and a cosy double bed, this room is perfect for lying back and soaking it all in.
The Hot tub
Relax in the luxurious hot tub as you unwind beneath the winter sky or have conversations with the summer breeze. Just breathe and soak it all in. There’s nowhere else you need to go.
The Sauna
After a long day exploring the countryside, there’s nothing quite like easing those aching muscles in our sauna. So go on, take this time for yourself. You deserve it.
The Tiki bar
Cocktails anyone? Our quirky tiki bar is the perfect place to experiment with new concoctions or stir up those firm classics.
The Cinema room
There’s nothing quite like a family movie night. Our cinema room with its gigantic 85 inch screen, dimmer lighting and leisurely seating takes this to a whole other level. Perfect for watching movies, football matches or even enjoying a spot of family karaoke.
The BBQ/Fire pit
Cosy round the fire pit and roast marshmallows (provided). Grill sausages on the BBQ. Share stories and reminisce about days gone by, all the while making memories to be recounted another time.
The Games room
Video games anyone? With an Xbox, games and a Smart TV, our quirky loft space, accessed via the spiral staircase in the dining area, is the perfect gaming hub for children, teenagers and grown-ups alike.
The Living and Dining room
Enjoy a family meal as you soak in the glorious views through original stained-glass windows. Relax on the comfortable sofas and stylish seating as you take in the characterful space with an abundance of original features. Located on the first floor, to make the most of the beautiful countryside views, our plush living and dining room is the perfect place to come together.
The Bedrooms
Distinctive colour palettes, walls adorned with art and gorgeous bedding, make our unforgettable bedrooms a real feast for the eyes. With bedrooms inspired by Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Gustav Klimt, Henri Matisse and David Hockney, you’ll find it hard to pick a favourite.
The Kitchen
An elegant palette of soft green and muted rose, introduces a sense of softness and ease in this light filled room. Located off the lounge area, the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine. There is also a Smart TV to keep the little ones entertained while you rustle up the evening meal.
The Patio
Carry on the mingling beneath open skies by stepping out onto our large, enclosed patio area. Whether you grab a stool at the tiki bar, get comfortable on the garden furniture or sway on the funky swing chair, this outdoor space is certainly a hub of the house.
The Landscape
With unrestricted views of the Leeming reservoir and the renowned Bronte Way directly across from the property, there is an abundance of tracks and trails to explore straight from the doorstep. Perfect for walks any time of the day, with or without your furry friends.
Paint your own art
With the gorgeous Yorkshire landscape in front of you and an easel, canvas and paint (all provided) at your disposal, there’s nothing to stop you from painting your very own piece of art.
